My passion for travel started several years ago when I set off to see the world with a friend for 6 months.  It wasn’t until then that I really started to love food–  and by love, I mean obsessed with food.  It was experiences like touring a spice farm in Zanzibar, attending cooking school in Chiang Mai, attending a Vanuatu wedding feast, and living off Bangkok street food and Indian curries that gave me a new appreciation for food and its origins.

Now that I’ve returned home I’ve decided to put my passion to good use and share what I’ve learned about food through my travels as well as what I’m still learning through tackling new recipes. Between recipes, I’ll stimulate our wanderlust for food by exploring the neighborhoods of my current location and the places I visit for exotic foods– from top-quality restaurants serving gastronomic masterpieces to independent holes-in-the-wall serving simple food found in the home kitchens of our global citizens.
